Welcome to the (mostly sane) ramblings of my life. It's a little bit about scrapbooking, a little bit about stamping, a little bit about my family, a little bit about going to school.

Update on Blog Candy
Roddey is still in the hospital. He has been on the chemo floor since last Thursday. He started dialysis on Saturday and didn't have a very good day. Last night he was moved to the renal floor. Blog candy is still open until this Friday!
I'm the mother of two girls, ages 7 and 3. I teach middle school English and Reading. I am currently writing my dissertation for a doctorate in Educational Leadership.
I started out thinking that people who scrapbooked needed to find a real job. There are hospitals all over the country that need volunteers. Then I went once and was addicted! I couldn't get enough of the creativity and fun. It was so relaxing and stress-relieving. But I was *only* a scrapper. Stamping was for people who needed a real job There are hospitals ...
Anyway, I was invited to visit a Stampin' Up scrapbook club one weekend. I immediately fell in love! Long story short ... I am now a SU demonstrator, but I started out with only 2 customers (my mother and myself) and two others that occasionally ordered. I occasionally hold monthly card classes and usually have about six regular attendees. It's fun and they love making a variety of cards each month.
